I’m seeing a trend here. My Master Baker is making bread from alcoholic drinks. Not that I’m complaining. And it was my idea anyway! I give him the recipe and he bakes. Booze bread, perhaps we should call it that, and why not?
The Sprig & Fern berry cider bread was a total success that I was encouraged to pick out two more ciders from a booze store to try. This orange ginger cider bread turned out better than the berry cider one, in my opinion. But JD says the berry cider version was more flavourful. We used the same ingredients except for the cider.
It is just a matter of personal tastes, I conclude. But just the same, booze bread is good! We will keep on experimenting. Next in the agenda: Coconut vanilla pilsner bread. Watch this space!

The two breads that you’ve posted look so good..I think that they would be wonderful for breakfast. I wonder if there are different ciders in the liquor stores here in Oregon. 🙂

You’ll love these savoury cider breads, my Lady. Just add butter and they will see you through the day!
