I share this recipe to celebrate Lara Ferroni‘s latest cookbook – Put an Egg on It: 70 Delicious Dishes That Deserve a Sunny Topping.

Every dish seems better when you put an egg on it. I made this slow-cooked creamy chicken casserole  in the midst of winter, three months ago, but never got to publish it on the blog until now. What perfect timing to post it to also promote Lara’s cookbook. I bought a Kindle edition so I can get 70 more egg-inspirations.
